The new 2009 Ford Expedition has been launched, however, it remains relatively unchanged. Still, it gets more standard convenience and luxury equipments, including SOS-Post Crash Alert, a perimeter alarm, rain-sensing wipers, second-row heated seating and a capless fuel-filler system. The 5.4-liter, V8 engine in the new Expedition adds Flex Fuel Vehicle (FFV) capabilities, offering additional choices at the pump. On fuel economy front, the 2009 Ford Expedition receives a significant 2 mpg bump in fuel mileage, from previous year's 12/18 mpg city/highway to 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway.
