Being a carryover model from 2008, the 2009 Ford Expedition receives minor updates. It combines Ford Truck design, functionality and toughness with superior interior refinement. The SUV comes in an array of trims, available in both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. For this year, Ford's new capless filler for the fuel tank is standard, as well as heated second-row seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers are some more standard features on all the trims.

The spacious interior of the 2009 Ford Expedition is adorn with a number of comfort and luxurious features. Expedition accommodates up to 9 passengers and offers great cargo space. All models include a 150 Amp alternator, power disc brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, and a front and rear stabilizer bar. Fuel ecoomy is EPA-rated as high as 14 mile per gallon in the city and 20 mile per gallon on the highway.
